Tanya Jeffers

Tanya has over 15 years of public relations experience with an emphasis on consumer tech, lifestyle and health care. She began working with Brazer Communications in 2014. Clients have come to depend on Tanya as a results-driven media strategist and specialist.  Her strong relationships with top-tier journalists have resulted in varied and repeated coverage in major outlets including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, USA Today, The View, Good Morning America and syndicated news services such as Gannett and McClatchy.  

Prior to joining Brazer Communications, Tanya worked with Grayling San Francisco as an account director where clients also depended on her grace under pressure to successfully execute on every aspect of the account.  Her clients have included mobile accessories leader Kensington, whom she aggressively took from only a handful of media placements each month to positioning them as one of the “Big 4” of computer accessories, as well as Logitech, Belkin and Microsoft.  

Tanya also launched GreatCall’s hugely successful Jitterbug cell phone as the “new kid on the block,” which David Pogue (previously) from the New York Times dubbed “Top 10 Products of the Year.” She also secured GreatCall’s CEO for the cover of Entrepreneur Magazine’s10 Smokin’ Hot Industries.”  GreatCall is now the recognized category leader for easy-to-use cell phones as well as health/wellness apps that keep customers connected, safe and healthy. Her expertise also includes working with celebrity spokespeople such as John Walsh from America’s Most Wanted and Dr. Travis Stork, co-host of the Emmy® award-winning, syndicated daytime talk show, The Doctors. Tanya also has worked with established brand leaders such as PayPal, Ebates.com, SWITCH and PC Tools.

Tanya earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from San Jose State University.
