A public relations professional with more than 20 years’ experience in promoting consumer products, Tami specializes in high visibility, national media relations campaigns, promoting lifestyle products and services, community/employee outreach programs, elaborate special events and top-market media tours for company spokespersons.

Promoting the products and services of Brazer Communications clients such as SightLife,  Treasure Brands, The Bay Lights, The National Food Lab, One Medical Group, TCHO chocolate, Cocoa Pete’s Chocolate Adventures,  OneShare.com, Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association, Stanford Shopping Center, and Casto Travel, Tami has landed prominent news and feature placements in major consumer and business media, including The Today Show, The Economist, USA Today, USA Weekend, Martha Stewart Living, Oprah.com, United Airlines Hemispheres, Discover, Playboy, Reuters, Associated Press, Travel & Leisure, New York Daily News, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, Parenting, InStyle, Entrepreneur and numerous television and radio news and feature programs and blogs across the country.  

Tami created communications plans to introduce new products and services to Kaiser Permanente Health Plan members and counseled hospital administrators and committees involved in the construction and grand opening of the Family Health Center at Kaiser Permanente’s Santa Teresa Medical Center.  With additional experience working with regional healthcare clients including Children’s Hospital Oakland, Alta Bates-Herrick Hospital and ValleyCare Medical Center, Tami is adept at identifying and fostering resolution of key communications issues, including patient awareness of new services and physician relocations, employee support for new facilities and traffic impacts on surrounding communities. She has successfully launched physician speaker’s bureaus and several healthcare employee newsletters establish employee-based editorial boards, solicit employee input and managing distribution.

An expert in the energy arena and promoting green companies, she developed and implemented community outreach programs involving wind turbine manufacturing facility and plant tours, a speaker’s bureau and development of 5th grade wind power/renewable energy curriculum that was distributed to schools across the nation.

Tami began her career in 1991 under the leadership of Mara Brazer with the Consumer Group at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, San Francisco, where she worked on the Pepsi, Tyson Foods, Embarcadero Center and Town of Dunsmuir (crisis management) accounts. A summa cum laude graduate of University of the Pacific, Tami has bachelor’s degrees in both public relations and entertainment management.
